Mask is fading,
Truth is cascading

Too plugged in to pay attention.

We are killing each other in the streets,
We are trying to discover the new big thing.
Bombs are flying,
people are dying.
Can't you hear me?!

Reading the events but who really cares?

We own NAKED and Sephora
Bugatti and Lambos
Got the hottest mixed tape.

Syria is in peril,
we bomb the one's bombing their own,
teaching them not to bomb,
Attacking each other.
Over what?!
The color of skin?
The Gods we worship?
The clothes we wear?
Listening to what the media wants us to hear.

We have a problem folks,
and hear me when I say this,
We are killing each other,
We are accusing the innocent,
ignoring the truth
hiring businessmen to do what's best for the people?
Like hiring a realtor living on their commission to help the poor in need,
Who is going to look out for the 99%
when even the 99% doesn't care.
