Revival

Dear Brothers & Sisters, please hear me.      
I know in this world of today      
Confusion abounds in one's journey;

As I stand here before you right now      
On top of my '58 Chevy,      
Is there anything better I vow?

She's better than ever a woman,      
Ocean coral with leather to match.      
White sidewalls like velveteen slippers,      
And she purrs like a white Persian cat.      
     
But this girl’s an All-American,      
A pure native Detroit, M.I.      
Custom-built to span all of God's country      
Like the Star-Spangled Banner we cry!      
     
There's millions who'd die to swap places,      
To have a life like you and me.      
The heartland they wish they'd been born in
