The Eloquence of Rage

The eloquence of rage can take a life
While never setting out to actu'lly,
A build-up of emotion sets the kind,
Let jilted love be warned before too late.

Intentional comes later as a rule
When seeking out revenge is but a thought.
A follow-up for method is a must,
And weapon's choice is next on list of plans.

There's poison sweet in food, liqueur, cold bisque,
Or sharpened blade of rapier unsheathed.
There's also jimmied car breaks with less risk,
Or hired gun, the undercover kind.

But when your actions stem from raw instinct
And you cannot recall what happened next,
Your lawyer's there protecting all your rights,
He'll file for you the claim "Insanity".
