Edging Light

You're in my office
(I'm often)
thinking of the secret-not so secret
attraction between us

Is it right
It might be...
there's meaning

Hypnotized by the delicate strands
n the back of your neck

Imagining me laying
on top of you
(in sweat)

Is it alright
It might be alright

Because I want to...
put out the light

I'm choking
You're hoping
for the end to be closer.....

(than not) I won't stop

I won't bend
Let me in
Make you bend, reddened skin - I'm a "closer"
Bull: full cocked

Is it right
It's alright
For me - I'll just put out the light

My fingers

wrapped around

your neck

Bodies heaving, heavy breathing...
Scratches
Bleeding‎...‎
and sweat

Then, turning red
with a face full of bed
No - not dead; not quite yet - you wear welts like a badge of honor

And through it

you prey

for me to put out

...the light
