A Comforting Inevitability

The sun rose beyond its normal horizon -    
from this point on were all things changed    
a journey forward was now in the upper house    
and missing truth had merely been mislaid    
    
a sense of new order emerged with increasing frequency    
as patterns of deliberation gave way to a singular path    
the new base-line pointed to a tropic of conversion    
with a question answered before even asked    
   
in the final analysis one moves beyond looking back concerned    
and looks forward with a kind of anticipating TLC    
where, of all the many futures on the canvas,    
a special one emerges … with a comforting inevitability.
