Gift Of Hope
before the sparrows last hymn of luv
hear it echo thru your weary soul one last time
enchanting beauty are their wings spread open
bathing in warm sunlight of your smile
taking flight where eagles soar the heavens
triumphant to fly where never before able
astonished achievements of being free
revelations releasing fears thru thoughts
unwavering in search for meaning of life
taking a breath of freshness breaking shackles
binding the heart not to feel or bleed
rain kisses now embracing her soul with luv
silence your heart to believe in lies from the wicked
memories of life become a comfort that you were luved
fingers folded and head bowed to above
forgiving those who've trespassed upon your heart
