Forgetting Corinth
We ate, drank, and partook of life.
But when the Lord
picked out our names
and perched them on his holy
lips next to recite,
we figured that it most impolite
that we would not apologize.
Our sin: that we forgot to die.
But when the Lord
picked out our names
and perched them on his holy
lips next to recite,
we figured that it most impolite
that we would not apologize.
Our sin: that we forgot to die.
