Get Outta the Rut

thanks to one honest soul
I’ve begun finally to see the light
to keep on keeping on
writing and slobbering o’er the past
is quite detrimental to my life
why?
why do I do that
to myself
hard to explain
I’ve exorcised ALL my demons
writing about my past
has helped me to do that
it isn't not the same as it was years ago
to add to that
I am very happy and pleased with my life
for the first time ever
only think I can say
for my keeping on, keeping on
is that is has truly become
a habit
no mas, no mas!
