You had me at the title. One thing, because you have requested honest critique:

I reserve my craving for
the madcap pagan Cajun goddess

'pagan' seems a bit out of place here, although I know why you used it. It's just that 'madcap Cajun' is phenomenal in its flow and has great alliteration. I tripped when reading 'pagan' between them.

I enjoyed it either way.

You are as right as rain, Ahavati. Pagan was completely out of place in that line. I removed it. But thank you  for understanding  why I used it. I appreciate you being here with my poems, and grateful for your sustained support.
