The Corruptor
You have reached the place you never wanted to be
Surrounded by the fires of my growing malady
The seering tongues caress the ceiling
Taste your fear but not revealing
How their hunger consumes all
The first to rise is first to fall
Unrelenting clouds descend
Of smoke to fill your troubled head
Strained breath, you struggle to inhale
When all turns black and senses fail
When you awake, your fragile state,
Succumbs to my proverbial hate
Cliched evil, so I am,
Surrender, you're already damned
You can't escape this astral prison
Where I keep you in submission
Where your weakness conquers all
Strength drained, you've lost your petty brawl
Remain here with me
Keep me company
As I twist your soul and mind
Put your morals in a bind
Until now you have been blind,
You have become one of my kind
Do nothing that I would not do,
Don't bite off more than you can chew
You're now my precious protégé
So take my hand and dance this day
Match my step as I take lead
Let's celebrate, as the earth bleeds
