Wishes for Kisses

eyes of liquid brown
looking towards and beyond
the pages of a book
written by women who loved
and never lost
she wished the stories
were hers

Red puffy lips
fit for a thousand kisses
whispering to the moon above
I wish I may I wish I might
see the one I love tonight

smiling she turned
to Barbara Cartland

she heard sounds of horses
galloping outside
she ran to see
and saw running unicorns
with glittery horns
she waved...her heart bursting
with happiness

reading of her love
how he smiled charmingly
his touches urged ecstasy
and his lover pined for more
he loved her again and again
in the kisses of her want

she wanted him so much
she was burning....
sinking onto her soft bed
sinking into magical realms
she floated down to her lover's arms
and rose petals fell from above

She snored gently
the book falling from her hands.
