- - - BURN LIKE WINTER LEAVES - - -

I am cold, hollow and grey
One step from an empty tomb
I can not stand the light of day
The chapter’s end
Come none too soon

I walk this path before me
With demons on either side
Sealing my fate for all to see
Washing away
With the shadow tide

There is nothing left to do
Nothing left for me to learn
Take me away in blackened hues
There’s nothing left
To do but burn

I burn
I churn
I burn
But never learn
To mourn
In scorn
I mourn
Twisted and torn
I burn
I churn
I burn
But never learn

Every heart I touch
Withers away

Take another step
Into the grave

My warm hands on your cold body
Compensate for the lack of breathing
Glassy eyes watch me desecrate
Supple flesh ripe for fucking

I wish I could
Just say I’m sorry
But nothing will
Be the same for me

For me...

And as I survey the damage
Wrought upon your shell, so abused
I harbour you no ill will, so
I think I will just consume

I wish I could
Just say I hate you
But nothing can
Hide this love for you

For you...

Every time we touch we burn
Like leaves in winter

The storm rolls in
With agonized screams
But still we walk
Betwixt the dreams

Thunder heralds the second coming
Unbiased of the recent dead
Awash in arterial bloom
Twisted visions materialize
In chains of tormenting beds

Innocence lost
When violence reigns
Beneath our hands
In crimson rains

I long to taste the death
Lingering on your lips
Embrace me with your wrath
My apocalypse

Every time we touch we burn
Like leaves in winter
And every time that we die
We are reborn within a jagged splinter

The horrid screams
Precedes our waking
Rise from our tomb
Bring suffering

Cruel be the dawn upon our white flesh
But we brave the light together
To see the coming catalyst
Take this black rose to immortalize
Love forged in graveyard leather

We burn, we churn
We burn
So twisted and torn

Every time we touch we burn
Like leaves in winter
And every time that we die
We are reborn within a jagged splinter
