The legend has returned

a rock legend feast for us all
queing up for hours on end
this seems so unreal, is it for pretend?
 
fans rush in, so much power
not long now, show starts in an hour
in the arena, a mosh pit takes place
can i spot anyone with an familiar face?
 
I glance down, to see the screaming fans
so i shout: ''c'mon everybody, let's see those hands''
so much energy before the start
after the show, i'll find it hard to part
 
at last the show starts, look at Myles Kennedy sway
seeing Slash in the flesh, that really made my day
seeing him back in his hometown, from so long ago
this made a more exciting show
 
the atmosphere was great, everyone moshing by my side
rock like nothing else matters, raise the devil horns with pride
it really shows that we are not bad folk
as slash said with pride: ''it's good to be back, are you fuckin' ready stoke?!''
