The Pit and the Ceiling Fan

The ceiling fan descends
Slicing ancient flesh
One cut for Sylva
One for Lorraine
One for the mistress who lives down the lane

But appetites are unrequited
Due to meat this stringed with age
Waiting jackals get the scraps
And catch bones tossed so lightly
By lovers quickly moving on

The ceiling fan descends again
Slicing healed flesh
One cut for Constance
One for Charmaine
One for the hell spawn who lives down the lane.
