she is hobbled
limping aimlessly
blazing fire dimmed
to a slow simmer
lukewarm and listless
lack of daily dread is nice
but…..
emotions without intensity?
it’s hard to know
is this a better version of me
or not me at all?

This resonates with me, see I was put on anti depressant medication a bout a week and a half ago, wrote a poem about it. Wild thing is my writing style changed a bit. And I've been getting good responses, so it fucks with me a bit. Am I better, or is it the drugs? If you ever need to vent or just another perspective, i am a warped mirror with a funny sort of clarity, feel free to pick my brain. Peace and love whether sober or from a drug.

Broken, I am utterly empathetic to your words. I've been on and off several times in my life and I am now replacing them all together with exercise. For years I have struggled with the questions you pose. Bravisima bella poeta!

Great job with the exercise....you will reap so many benefits from that. I'd be all kinds of crazy without it and certainly would have needed the drugs sooner. Best wishes to you!
