The Lizard King

A wicked,forked tongue lies behind
The parting of his beautiful lips

Spinster of words you are,
Spoken with the fluant ease of liquid silver

They draw me in as a moth to flame
And like a fool.....I go

Subdued by niceties and half truths,I smile while he claws maddly at my deepest desires
And devours me whole like a desperate, starving thing

All hail the lizard king!
May he be revealed as the reptile he truly is
