Pinkie Promise
There has never been
an understanding of
honor
trust
& commitment
quite like that
of a
pinkie promise
Finding another
who honors
the small finger
fold
is not common
which makes it
the perfect test
of integrity

I've only used the 'Pinkie Swear' twice in my life.
You're right - it's a test of honor and integrity one
doesn't take lightly - like the last drop of fleeting
childhood we can hold onto.

Oh luv
I had a second paragraph in there before the edits
it's lost now, but it also referred to the innocence of child like honesty.
;)
It is the very last hold on our real truth, aint it ;)
Thank you for your acute analogy

Today everything is based on the integrity of a handshake, and even those tend to fail. . .Maybe, and perhaps, as adults we should adhere to the 'child code' and maybe then much will be achieved in earnestness. . .Brilliant composition, Rev AL. . .~xo, Devlin.

Oooh yes, lets do that handshake, how many times has that been a dropped on ja ass, Miss D?
I do we feel, we adults forget our "child code" far to early.
I had a friend who used to say "Don't Grow Up.... IT'S A TRAP!"
Thank you for your kindness and popping in my dear.

Aaah it may be a geographic thing Mr. Cat
But it's very much a thing kids do similar to " Scouts Honor"
Every now and again you find an adult who understands the responsibility of "Pinkie Swear" or "Pinkie Promise". Those adults, those are the ones I want to associate with ;)
Much love at you Mr Cat, many thanks for popping in mate
