Morphed shadows disappear
As arrows pierce the black sun
Bursting colors of velvet
Spreading like wildfire
Forming fissures of red
Across vast open skies
Blazing embers
Ignite the stillness of day
The wind carrying its warm embrace
Earth gives its wild applause
As light perfoms its final piece

These lines bring to mind visions of the gentle haze of auroras, but instead of red and green, splashes of orange and purple. Instead of the poles, the warmth of a tropical place. (I'd like it to be Palawan. :) )
