Natural Delights

Climbing up volcanic mountains to explore nature's scenery
Then sleigh ride down between the slopes into the forest in the valley
Once more rising towards their snow white covered peaks
Then diving down to flooded rivers and overflowing creeks
After drying off, rubbing sticks and stones together
To create waves of friction making sparks for a roaring hot camp fire
Toasting marshmallows and roasting hotdogs between twin hot crossed buns
You enjoyed the most, your favorite chocolate covered ones
In the end I popped your corn and buttered up your bun
And shook your un-popped kernels until they were all well done
The red hot embers burned throughout the starry night
Rekindling forgotten hearts with the glow of morning light
