- - - RESTLESS NIGHT - - -
She came to my night in a haze
Lunar eclipse and my umbra
Was streaked with scarlet and grey
It is like she rode upon a crow
Just to sing me a lullaby
And leave me in the morning glow
You could say I miss her
Even though I wish her
A restful night
Her words resound inside my head
Carrying across winter winds
A tale of when tragedies wed
Her red hair seemed to cast a flame
Across my shadow in the black
And back into my darkest days
You might say I miss her
Even though I wish her
A restful night
Through the light
The shadows hide
In me
Through the night
The sun still shines
In her
Thirteen stones around the pit
The fire burns so brightly
Is there any sorcery
To summon her henceforth?
May we find this fairy tale
Inside a magic hour
With the scent of Autumn leaves
And hold each other at dusk?
You could say I miss her
Even though I wish her
A restful night
Through the light
The shadows hide
In me
Through the night
The sun still shines
In her
You could say I miss her
Even though I wish her
A restful night
