this is not an explination

words are clashing by
towards self repentance
aimed to keep this fragile mind
at bay, with rhetoric used in
debates about environmental policy
concluding that we destroy
more than we build

is this how its meant to be?

i cannot continue playing
this game, for it has no winners
in its mist of denial towards
the single contribution in
our final phase before extinction

is this all we can do?

build hatred into schools
poisoning the minds of children
whose dreams are about love
uniting common goals that
introduce moral exposing truths
towards societal views
contradictory to popular belief
we are not special

can we move past this?

we are intricate, beautiful designs
of physical thought prism allocating
its time towards false idols
made to explain what we
cannot see with out minds
but fallacies do not portray
the truth of what lays inside

does the truth really hurt?

or are we merely bothered by
its unaligned words towards perspective
we've hanged around our necks
anchors of thoughts keeping
us prisoners of our mind
