A vast abyss
Designed to conquer
Wonders bliss

Paranoid
Beyond the curve
Waves of pressure
Your every word

Tempered steel
Severed nerves
Betrayed illusions
Endless verbs
Walking hand in with death
Hiding from myself I guess
Knowing that the end is near
Showing no regret or fear

Waiting for the end to come and when it does
I will run
Blind
Into its emptiness
Then come to terms with what I find
