Strength To Finish

You write the simplest of thoughts
letting me know you’re there,
always when I need them most
the warmest blanket of care.

My dreams are full of insecurity
I wake emotionally undone to your inquire,
All I wish is freedom’s light
and a new ferocity to my fire.

Please think of me strong
in mind, vessel and soul,
I’m doing what I believe is right
with a minimal crippling toll.
