Waterfront, keep it for another day

a child of pain deaf to kindness
a woman plain gone away a minute
worth a thousand years in fantasy
of swallowing the moonlight
and a moment of euphoria

freedom sought through gazes
up to the blue sky above
watching silver winged birds
wishing to fly and soar
reaching the galaxies beyond

away away fly far away
and looking at the waterfront
a choice...but keep it
for another day.
