Almighty Period

This is fascinating Gahdess, kind of a puzzle for me.  The "I" sure has a lot of power in curtailing the desire to "write, rest and journey on."  Is this the writer himself speaking?  Is it the period at the end of the line, forcing the writer to take it one sentence at a time?  I loved this little haiku whether I grasped it or not.  Fine work!

Crow, your comment is exactly the thought I want to elicit with this piece. It is the period speaking throughout. I thought of the period as either an end or the herald of  new, authentic, original thought.

This is extremely philosophical talk about metaphors, i mean this just blows my fucking mind Gahd!
