Ideally Imperfect
The world is not a good place,[/font]
it's not what we make of it.[/font]
No matter how hard we try[/font]
someone will destroy it.[/font]
We try and try to fix things -[/font]
Our own mistakes, others' carelessness.[/font]
But nobody cares.[/font]
No, the world is not a good place.[/font]
It forces you to look a certain way[/font]
for if you don't you are an outcast,[/font]
you need to smoke, you need to drink,[/font]
you need to be the fittest fuck.[/font]
And if you're not[/font]
then no one wants you.[/font]
So selfish, so unreal.[/font]
Uncaring and so cruel.[/font]
And when you say you just give up,[/font]
you don't fit in, don't want to try to;[/font]
that's when you get the dirty looks,[/font]
that's when you really are[/font]
left out.

Nice poem. This is hard hitting and intense - keep the poems coming - you may even feel differently about the world one day if you do. But don't listen to me the only opinion that matters is your own.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the feedback. This poem is from personal experience, as most of mine are. I found it's a good way to release my anger as opposed to keeping it all in. Thanks :)
