Feeling the Cold
cold days coming
the leaves will soon turn
the red will will show among the trees
and grey will cover the sky
the cold wind blowing
will kiss warm cheeks
with ardent attention
embrace tight bodies
memories of before
will flow by teasing
will tomorrow be as good
as yesterday
the sun is setting
the twilight is coming
walk I this road towards home
I have walked this before.

It seems the cold can be a comfort:
"the cold wind blowing
will kiss warm cheeks
with ardent attention
embrace tight bodies"
I think the last stanza contains a sense of comfort and familiarity:
"the sun is setting
the twilight is coming
walk I this road towards home
I have walked this before."
No dread here but a sense of peace, seems to me. Really enjoyed this Grace!
