Our Broken Love

Those summer nights that were so warm,
I know I'll truly miss,
and his body, sculptured so well,
as though it was art form.
I'll miss that kiss of his.

But when the moon appears at night,
as the sun lay down to sleep,
I know thy memories will ignite,
thus then I know I'll weep.

I'll weep for him because he's gone,
not present in my mind,
nor in my life nor in my buisson,
for our love hath now declined.

I wish him well for he was mine,
but now we must depart,
for our hearts no longer are entwined,
it's time for our fresh start.

When the sun comes up and the wind may blow,
please do one thing for me,
because if there is one thing I know,
it's that we were once meant to be.

So wipe thy eyes and go to sleep,
for another day will come,
when love arrives right at your feet,
love in return, in which I did succumb.

I'm leaving love right at this hour,
to let your mind at ease,
for love's a spell but we've no power,
now a good life this world foresees.

Goodbye my love it's time to go,
the sun has woken now,
our time was grand, as one knows,
so stand back for one last bow.
