This is so sad, so much emotion conveyed in so few words.
This is what happens to us as we become older; we don't see things through brightly colored glasses any more.We become less tolerant and things are not as rosy as they once seemed. You probably didn't intend this meaning to come from this. But we all see things through the lenses of our own experience. that is the wonder of your gift to be different things to different people.
