Leaving alone

drizzles on a black shirt
tending an eerie grey evening
haunted by memories
laughter and fun
now desolated

he wants to run
from the sunshine

grief
a sound not echoed
just a few regrets
coalescing into pain
a dripping faucet
drumming like a thunderous
waterfall

it darkens his evening
as he thinks of her
an aura of magenta
around a dead rose

raindrops
falling on his head
distant thunder storms
break in the sky
and he cries
for all that pass away.
