Love, Blood and Sky Angels

So sad. To lose your love and fear all alone. No ceremony only ashes though he was worth everything to her. Slit your throat to avoid the day and meet again. No other recourse or options.

A haunting story. Could see her swollen eyes cry hiding their beautiful green color. The red dripping down her white throat. Vivid against a picture in my mind of stark grey stones.

Such a dreary, melancholic write, Tanya, it chilled me to the bone. One line, among many so well written and expressive, stands out and tells the story of the whole, that line is, "..cannot live Our life alone!" What a wonderful, but desolate, depressing thought. Still, as I said, it IS the poem.

Okay, I'm thinking (after yesterday's heart bleed for Michael) that this is some kind of exercise too! At any rate, it's heart-rending and captures the morbidity and emotion of loss. The imagery is stunning and places me in some ancient cemetery breathing misty fog around the silhouettes of stone.

Rofl w/toe curls, lady that I loves.. yeps, Michael & I do challenges frequently.. just ironic these happened be so closely posted. not a challenge this time but def similar moods.
There does always seem to be a little/or a lot, of myself, even in my story poems & I thank you So much for taking time on my writes. Appreciate your every word & take on them.

Your words are music here sweet Darksighs, and I love the mourning enigma of your words.  "Conceiver of pain / Breeder of sorrow / No grave shall contain / Shall return on the morrow."  So reads my epitaph, so I'll keep coming back for more.  Count on it!   Memento mori, an echo in stone...

I say most excellent choice in epitaph Sir Crow.. the eeriness of the knowing return of said sorrow come morn.. o yes's..a gothic green like..

I love your language and dream that if we ever meet you would have to talk to me in just that way. I might look at your somewhat sideways at times and wonder what you just said, but it has a nice gothic flavor to it that I could listen to for almost all day. Haha

If you wanted to induce chills along one's spine,  then you have accomplished just that. There are so many phrases in this that I want to tease & call out but can't... because there will be no room for my speechless self. My hairs  are finely raised darling by you.
