An unnatural sunrise of science
Malevolent beauty killing indiscriminately
And maiming with newfound success
To slowly slay the enemy
Of those far away
I wasn’t yet born
And yet must remember
And hope that the sunrise of death
Never rises again.
My silence now is my shield and my scream
