drinking gin at the bar
eyeing the girl without the bra
seeing her nipples taut
against her blouse

and he wondered
will she swing for me
will she go down on her knee
will she send me to Ecstasy

another girl with very short shorts
pubic hair peeping between her legs
her tight bottom wiggling
like two fat piglets fighting

and he wondered
will she smile when impaled
will she moan when she sails
the pleasure sea, horizontal

then he thought about his wife
once young they surfed
the pleasure ocean every night
each union a vow affirmed

laughing together and loving hard
fighting life's every obstacle
crying when they lost their child
a soldier shot in a senseless war

no casual sex please he thought
you never know where they've been
or what lies within
so he walked out the door.
