New Emotion

I’ve been down before this
I’ve been up in the stars with happiness
But I’ve never felt anything
Like this before

I’ve been dumped and picked up
I’ve been loved and hated before
But there’s no memory of feeling
So up in the air before

It’s a new emotion
It doesn’t have a name on my list
I just know that I like it

Lost in the middle
Not sure what’s up
And what is down
It’s looked confusing to me all the days
Of the week

I’m not sure of anything
Anymore
This is different than anything
That came before
A lot of feelings that I just can’t explain
