Snowflake

She might seem cold, but she's really beautiful
she is unique, unlike others around her
I guess i was silenced by her great quell
but she's close to me, she's someone special.

She's quite sharp, her touch and actions sting (ouch)
Though she's usually quiet, and doesn't say anything.
she is transparent, she has nothing to hide.
She keeps no secret, and tells no lies.

Her ego's small, and she feels no importance
she's been made use of, and trodden on.
She isn't perfect, none of her is,
She has been scarred, but has the will to live.

Her presence is limited, however.
She always leaves in spring and comes in the winter
But at least i can see her before it's too late
I will embrace her when i can, my little snowflake.
