They say that memories stay with us
that they never really leave
but what happens when these memories
terrorise our dreams?
Do we let them go
to take over our minds?
Or do we let them go further
until our sanity is hard to find?
Dreams can be good
when we dream of blue skies
but dreams can be bad
when we dream of past ties.

And only selective memories stay with us really, as they fade like the fog, except the most painful ones..and some of those may stay with us and shape our destiny forever, if they are powerful enough, often while we don't even realize it with our little conscious minds, while the other 90 percent does what it wants to us beneath the surface, slaves to our habits and impulses the real mind beneath the surface makes us
