The Filming Dead
"It will be a hit!" the director claims
"A classic of its type
Although starring lesser names
The rest will look like tripe"
"Shooting problems will be solved
Before the cameras roll
The walking dead might be involved
But I won't lose control"
His starlet shows up on the set
Running fucking late
She hasn't had her lattes yet
So we'll just have to wait
When she's finally had a few
And make up is applied
She sits down for an interview
And conducts herself with pride
She says "The dead will take the lead
And seduce me from the start
Inject me with their demon seed
And finally eat my heart"
I say "Thank you for the quotes
And all things being equal
I really hope this picture floats
And I'll see you for the sequel."

I feel an avid connection here,
I often tend to use quotes or variations...
that could be it or not, does it matter?
I think not!
Oh and good poem by the way. Hahaha

I wonder. With prequels and sequels, if sometimes they are so contrived, the director gets befuddled and at times, hit a masterpiece.:) Crowfly, love your sense of humour.

Sometimes sequels get it right, but usually they're contrived. Remakes also tend to be misguided. A truly original story, or screenplay, is a rarity these days. Thanks Grace!

So casual about the realities of Hollywood. The big picture is so much more fascinating than just the big screen. Film Journalism is largely underrated, as everyone's an audience. The writer who observes is tapping the giver, and delivering a bridge between who's on screen and who's watching. Awesome tour again!
