that one feeling/thought

floating aimlessly
striving for the truth
including the ugliness
that may come to be
purposely going where
people shy away from
enter into a world
with immaterial being
pushing what I thought
was real and true
giving my soul
a chance to grow
allowing my eyes to believe
my mind to comprehend
feelings left untouched
the message isn't clear
not until you see
the world is not what it seems
to produce in your head
the physicality all around
life is but an illusion
of greater things to come
creating the very fabric
we've come to call
reality
