Disgrasing my blessed image (Dont read if you know me)

I was made in God's image
A form beautiful and strong.
How I treated this gift
is pathetic, confused and wrong.

God's image, I don't deserve his form.
Two arms, legs, eyes, ears and
So on.

But one thing doesn't look right
My shocking left arm.
Many marks upon it,
Healing with alarm.

I have failed many
God, mother and I.
There's only one thing I can do now -
heal and successfully lie.

I have disgraced this form
The blessings I have used.
Were given a physical body and a spirit to pull through.

My father I am sorry, I truly want to live.
Forgive me my trespasses and thank you for all you give.

For a short time before
I doubted you and your help.
I'm back with you father
It's to you whome I shout.

Love me father
For I love you too.
Hold me with your hands
And remould me like you.
