The Pain Inside

The twisting shards of glass inside
my stomach grind all day and night
Bleeding healing bleed again
no interest in my lack of comfort

My skin it burns like fuel alight
scorching nerves that wont go dead
I scream and scream till no more lips
reduced to bones but still i live

A searing poison stings my brain
like floating in an acid bath
Needles drove right through the skull
there's only pain trying to think

My heart it swells almost to burst
A blood balloon craving a prick
The pressure strains pushing out
it thinks it rules over the brain

That leaves the eyes swollen and sore
to see it all yet nothing real
They won't allow the one last truth
She wont see you any more
