the glance

Glance off into the clear blue sky I see a ocean waiting for me, floating on a feather down to the sea hovering just above the waves,  I swish onto the beach so gracefully, I take a few steps and wonder why I'm alone,  a chill runs up my spine but I have to see whats behind the vines intertwined in the trees, I fell into the depths of hell running from the unknown, this beautiful beach turned ice cold, my dress torn, mud on my face I was a disgrace, my heart racing somethings there the devil I swear, as I ran I felt something wet on my leg so afraid I turned to glance back and it was the damn sprinkler that crossed my path
