Dreams

I find peace in my dreams
I travel to places that i’ve never seen
I walk the streets i’ve never walked
I talk to people who have never thought

I journey, I travel, I wait for time to unravel
I sail, I float but I never gloat
I wish upon stars that can’t hear my voice
I wish, I wish I had a choice

I laugh and I cry, I always wonder why
I scream and I kick and my heart it feels sick

In my dreams I see in perfect health
a wonder lust of the eye, a curse of wealth

I lead and love in the sands of time
I lead and love to let the world unwind

I dream of souls, who are no longer lost
I dream their dream, without any cost

It’s not that i long for a choice
but my heart, my heart dreams of a voice

I dream that dreamers find their way
I dream that we all can laugh and play
I dream that we're all children again
I dream that we all found our lost friends

I dream that you all sleep with eyes wide shut
and minds wide open
I dream you dream, with emotion

In my dreams i’ve met people i’ve never known
i guess thats one way i know i’m not alone
In my dreams, i dream you’re dreaming
instead of your thoughts, leaving you weeping
