Boadicea
Looking back at the paths I've traveled
abandoned little one at the age of three
momma on the streets at fifteen
a junkie chasing my fix
the rotating doors of the psych ward
at times feeling so alone
though you were there Mother Earth
rejuvenating and rebirthing my soul
with your oceans deep cleansing me with each wave
the forests a sacred and safe place
for me to take shelter in
slumbering on the mossy bed you provided
your great mountains the breasts of the Earth
from which my being suckled
you fed and sheltered my broken spirit
giving it peace
"For Miki's it's your thing comp."

Viewed as an offering, this is a tale of having overcome and now having something to offer.....back. Looking up the sheer face of the picture, the sea offers this salty taste of its richness....beingness is its own reward....very powerful poem.

This kind of visualization works so well in times of trouble. It shows a kind of courage. Well done, Lady Crim!

I feel this to my core you beautiful lady of light. Such hardships no child should ever endure :'( Taking comfort in our Mother and those that have been there keeps us going, makes us stronger and in the end we are better people and can help so many others.
You are a perfect gift to all you touch, you inspire me my Sister. I love u

Beautiful words, Brenda.
Physical and symbolic, artfully entwined.
No matter the difficulty, natures healing
balm is always sufficient.
You know what I'm sending, :)
