Right At Home
Drifting towards darkness
I begin to slip
Losing my grip
My sanity dwindling
And my terror growing
The descent is rapid with seeming finality
But my lover's here
Right at home
And she catches me gently
Whispering soothing words
Cradling me in her arms
And resting my head on her breasts
Then her hand guiding me into her form of paradise
Where pain is not permitted
And memories of ruin banished
Then, finally, gone.
I begin to slip
Losing my grip
My sanity dwindling
And my terror growing
The descent is rapid with seeming finality
But my lover's here
Right at home
And she catches me gently
Whispering soothing words
Cradling me in her arms
And resting my head on her breasts
Then her hand guiding me into her form of paradise
Where pain is not permitted
And memories of ruin banished
Then, finally, gone.

Sir Crow,
This is such a haunting, beautiful write, volumes of tender sadness. So sweet are your words of love and heartache.

Lady Muse,
Thank you. I keep dreaming, and the ruin keeps standing, as it were.

"And memories of ruin banished"... Wow, Crow. I wish someone felt this way for me. This is my new favorite of yours. Such tender and aching love and eroticism. Thank you so much for sharing.

We fall into homespace when we find the perfect set of arms, the lap that smells right, the breasts and shoulders that don't turn weak when we do. There's strength in vulnerability if you're strong enough to ask for comfort. Close to home, work. Thanks for releasing.
