Joy and Pain

I look high

I'm honest, sincere, compassionate,
kind, likable, generous and considerate

I look low

I'm contrary, annoying, irritable,
lazy, sloppy and indignant

I see the sky

I'm creative, motivated, tolerant,
peace loving and expressive

I see the black ice

I'm moody, agitated, confused,
over sensitive and too outspoken

I'm in the light

I'm beautiful, serene, balanced,
sensible and responsible

I'm in the dark

I'm angry, suspicious, critical,
on my guard and fearful

The beauty in me contains the colors
of life including the black and the
white

The bittersweet personality I have
leaves me sometimes lost, sometimes
at peace

I am learning to experience all the joy
and pain of life
