Image for the poem the gothic majesty

the gothic majesty

raven looked so beautiful
all dressed in black
with white make-up and jet black lips
she sat on the throne full of majesty

the onlookers were dazzled by her beauty
and worshiped the ground she walked upon
although her king was not well
his end was near

but the gothic majesty now ruled
with everyone impressed by such grace and beauty
her duties always carried out without complaint
with always greeting new visitors with a smile

but within her own privicy
she would weep a casade of black tears
underneath her garments she was painfully thin
she felt so much pressure to be beautiful

she had many suitor but no one she truly loved
she wanted to take away her life
living was tourmenting her
expectations were too high

her body was found
she was drounded in her own black tears
at last she was free and departed this land
and she headed above the clouds

she was buried with a thousand red roses
it was a heavy burden for a young girl to live
with chaos
with pain...

her king once said:
'so many souls are sacrificed on the road to glory'
