The Prisoner of Mind

The prisoner of mind, that I am,
Through hardship and nightfall never again,
For the way to go is the only way in,
The prisoner of mind will cause you to sin.

He will lead you to black waters in the toughest of times,
Guide you to death when a problem is present,
Kiss you goodbye when the wind chimes,
And alter you as a stray, a poor peasant.

Once let go once, he leads the wrong way,
Stupidity causes you to become a stray,
Let go of him, and you are lost,
Losing yourself, you pay the full cost.

He is the one who wears the mask,
Hides behind even your darkest fears,
Yet successfully completes every task,
Trying to kill you for the rest of your years.
