Living Light

beams of light through space then sky
from Sun and stars to Earth they fly
bouncing through the air to land
on sea on ground on desert sand

illuminating, warming too
radiating infra blue
red and green in spectral hues
dancing lights from space amuse

minds in darkness now well lit
as souls expand here just a bit
hearts are warmed inside they sing
spirit's soaring on the wing -

you are with me as I rise
up and up into the skies
I am with you in between
electrons spinning...atom's dream -

beams of light like waves they crash
on mind's shore, a sparkling flash
of life from Sun and stars that's flown
to this place which we call home

to Earth's beings here they've come
illuminating everyone
revealing mysteries once unseen
evaporating misty steam

from dew soaked ground and trees before
light returned, from sky did pour
like the rain which fell last night
now quiet pools in morning light -
