So much change
Is it time to run?
I expect the pain
Could I be wrong?
They're all the same
But can this be done?
Another day
Have I moved on?

So much time
Will it just pass by?
I'm done lying
Could this be my life?
I'm done crying
Does this mean I don't have to die?
Another night
Have I learned to fight?

So many smiles
Is this how everyone feels?
So much laughter
What happened to my tears?
So much comfort
Will this continue for years?
Some more time passes
And I'm done fighting with all my fears.
