Morningside of the Mountain
Bring the glitter on bands of gold
blow the shivers of pleasure trove
touch the portal to ecstasy
kiss the yearnings of unfolding blossoms
Watch the dawn blush kissing the sky
cool night air bowing in greeting
feel the sparks of silver lighting
permeates through the body supine
twin peaks tremble with morning dew
sprinkled by heavy magicked wand
shooting stars on velvet curtains
erupting volcanoes roars within
Pegasus gallops across the sky
trailing galaxies of molten stars
trembling constellations in creation
flags the descent of entwined mortals
Waking up on the morning side
of the mountain she smiles
joyful in satiation.

That's very clever, Grace. I like the imagery in the main body of the poem, "ecstatic" to say the least. Then, at the end of the fourth stanza, we bear witness as "trembling constellations in creation / flags the descent of entwined mortals." And then a mere human female rises and shines, nicely sated, apparently one of those entwined mortals. That's bringing things very nicely down to earth. I wonder if that lady's aware of all the divine activity around her? Probably has enough joy of her own.

Thank you Crowfly. Indeed the imagery is contributed to her feelings in her sexual pleasure and her fulfillment. :)

Grace,
After such a night of bliss and then to awaken with a smile makes it indeed worth the trek to the top of those trembling twin peaks to feel the power of that volcanos roar! Enjoyed!

A very powerful and magical exploration of bliss and a lovely poetic attempt to convey all of the feelings, emotions, and sensations that such nigh-transcendent bliss can bring about in someone. I love it! Beautiful work, Grace... one of your great poems, that's for certain. :D
